Titiyo & Sunnan

As one of the pioneers behind modern soul pop in Sweden, it is more than 30 years since Titiyo made his solo debut on the super hip label Telegram with the self-titled soul record "Titiyo". Since then, Titiyo has experimented and moved between rnb, soul pop, electronica and krautrock.

Over the years, Titiyo has collaborated with artists such as Jonathan Johansson, Peter Svensson, Kleerup and Goran Kajfeš, and has managed to release six full-lengths under his own name. Göteborgs-Posten describes Titiyo as having managed to land in "an artistry far beyond the mainstream groove" while still being as popular as when the debut single "Talking To The Man In The Moon" was released in 1989 and the super hit "Come Along" in 2001.

In the summer of 2023, Titiyo goes on tour with the band Sunnan!

- Sometimes it happens that you hear and see bands that you think are so good that you wish you were a band member yourself. That's how it was with Sunnan and in this collaboration I almost become one of them but still as the artist Titiyo. We sound surprisingly well together, greets Titiyo.

Sunnah is Cinema. Spaghetti Motown, Cowboy Soul. The feeling of your most dramatic film experiences, sampled into evocative, captivating and incredibly close live experiences. In the middle of the pandemic, five of Sweden's most hired freelance musicians gathered in a barn to find new musical expressions, completely without obligation. After repeated trips to Dalarna and the barn in Sunnanhed, the band is now ready with a full album to be released in the latter part of 2023.
