Nature conservation in England
After the annual meeting proceedings, Kristoffer Hewitt talks about "Rewilding Britain - another way to increase
the Biological Diversity?” Kristoffer has worked with nature conservation in England for almost 30 years, mostly
with Natural England (a government organization equivalent to the Environmental Protection Agency). During his work
with Knepp Rewilding in West Sussex, not far from London Gatwick Airport, they have seen one
typical English landscape is transformed into a wild area with nightingale, turtle dove,
moth, beaver and white stork.
