Österlen Poetry & Prose Invites You to Its First Literary Salon

We will read aloud and discuss Selma Lagerlöf's Christmas short story The Skull.
When the local gravedigger, Anders Öster, invites guests to his Christmas party, only the skull from Svartsjö churchyard shows up… After a quarrel spirals out of control, his wife seeks refuge with a neighbor. Öster then fetches the skull from the graveyard and celebrates Christmas with it. During the evening, the deceased gives him a sign.
