Author evening: Hana Al-Khamri

Welcome to a conversation about the writing woman with author and journalist Hana Al-Khamri. Al-Khamri will open the conversation by talking about how women writers around the world, from Saudi Arabia to Sweden, have been considered indecent, forced to write under pseudonyms and silenced in various ways, and the importance of not taking the fragile democracy for granted. Al-Khamri made her book debut in 2021 with the personal interview book "Well-bred women rarely write history" and in 2022 her Summer Talk was praised in P1.

Voices in motion is a series of conversational events through six Skåne folk high schools in collaboration with ABF. The themes and speakers are chosen based on a desire to provide expanded and varied perspectives on the contemporary world. Refuse to simplify! Together we meet and engage in complex issues.
